Turnovers

Turnovers are pretty big game swingers. We definitely need team turnovers. However, tracking turnovers on the player-by-player level is right next to useless.

A player that gets 8 picks in a single season is more or less an anomaly. That number represents a pick every other game. In most any year, 8 picks would be in the top 5 for the entire league. The math follows that +/- just 2 picks in a season is a 25% statistical deviation.

In other words, unless you are talking a 50-year old NFL Historical record of 14 picks in a season, individual INT numbers are just kind of meaningless.*

Now as a TEAM though, I do think turnovers are an important thing to focus on.
