1. All the predictable partisan comments are tiresome.

2. No matter how you slice it, it is not a redeeming quality to use an escort service and, at the same time, make much of your campaign about famliy and morals.

Would it matter if people were told for the 100th time that Clinton's primary problem was the lying under oath on more than one occasion, lying to the public wagging his finger, and having his handler's attack Monica as "that woman," before hearing them say again "it was just sex, what's the difference?"

4. Given the election is 3 years away, I think he can get past this if he stays out of trouble and nothing else comes out.

5. This will not be big news outside of Louisiana in a matter of days, and I doubt it will have nearly as much significance on La's future as people are suggesting. Cheating Congressmen tends to be old hat in DC and there will likely be many more names coming out.

6. Most people outside of LA have no idea who Vitter is.

7. It certainly raises questions regarding his character.
