I have done some see-sawing on the matter myself. When we had to play them in the 80's I hated them because the had a better team, but I also feared them. During the 90's I learned to respect them. When they were struggling under Mike Singletary in the 2000's I felt sorry for them.
Now, in the 2010's I hate them again, not because they are good, but because they are a bunch of thugs who play dirty. An SOMEHOW, they managed to come off looking like a victim in the alleged bounty scandal 2 years ago. Unbelievable!
