Talking about the great fan base for NOLA, Drew says they are a rare breed and the best.
PK asked him about the 40 FDs, he said he didn't realize until they were only one off the record and someone told him. He says they were hitting on all cylinders, and that the record belongs to the O-Line.
Jim asks how this team compares to some of the other Saints teams, and he is careful. He says this team has the potential to be special. Great young talent is mentioned, defense is playing great, offense is getting better. Still tough games ahead.
PK asks about Ingram, says he's going to hurt someone running that hard. Drew laughed at that, says they all know what kind of player he is, finally getting healthy. MI was a man on a mission last night, so focused Drew couldn't even talk to him during the game, said with a chuckle.
Jim asks something, Drew talks about jets game. It wasn't as balanced as they would ideally like. Felt the O -line took too much blame for that loss, that the loss was more on execution of the O players.
PK compliments Drew for taking time to talk to Rob on sidelines last night. Rob had a big smile after, PK asked what Drew said. Drew says he loves Rob, and he knew that game meant something to him. He told Rob "that last drive was for you."
Jim teases Drew about seeing his jersey in downtown Chicago this past weekend, Drew says it's probably the Purdue contingent up there and they all laugh. Drew hangs up.
PK discusses upcoming Seattle game, says that will be the true test to see if Saints can make it to Super Bowl. Says Seattle will run it a lot, will test our defense. PK is a good friend of Pete Carroll, though. My take is that the Saints will be the true test for Seattle.
That's it, guys, hope this was informative, I tried to catch most of it.
