TWC/AP reports: NFL Ready to Take on the Weather in Super Bowl

I think some guys are way overstating it.

So the fan attendance would be awful and the half time show might be cancelled (it probably wasnt going to be that awesome anyway).

But the game itself could be pretty memorable. Football Players can play well in the snow. if you get a chance watch the clips of the classic 1948 Championship in a blizzard. A final score of 7-0 didnt make the game any less great.

Furthermore, I dont believe the hogwash from spin doctors who dont think we can win an outdoor game in harsh conditions.

By the way, the first ever live game I saw was at the Meadowlands on a snowy day on December 26th. The Saints shut out the Jets in route to the playoffs.

Also I think the comments about "playing in pristine elements as the only way to settle a championship" are pure rubbish. Football is an outdoor sport (whose outdoor feel is sometimes simulated inside). A true champion should be the one that can win under any conditions, not just ideal conditions.

Sounds like we have ourselves a Packers fan here!
