TWC/AP reports: NFL Ready to Take on the Weather in Super Bowl

I cannot wait to see what happens with this game. I'm sure the local merchants are ticked off about the busing, no vehicles policy. The area is heavily commercial, with lots of small businesses as well as big box stores.

This is why New Orleans is such a great venue for superbowls. The stadium is right in the middle of things, but there's no need to restrict anything. People come from all directions. With MetLife, most people will be coming through the Lincoln Tunnel, which is atrocious at best, let alone having extra traffic. There really isn't a good alternative: GW Bridge is way too far away; Holland Tunnel is not very close either. So, it's not just the weather that's the problem. From the Jersey direction, I have no idea what those people will do. I'm glad I have no responsibility for planning this event. And of course, it will be a smashing success according to the NFL's public relations maching no matter what happens.
