Mark Ingram 18 for 97 (5.4 ypc) 1 TD

Ingram played extremely well. He was the opposite of what I said he was last week. He was decisive, downhill and finished his runs with authority.

What surprised me more was how well the OL run blocked on the road. My biggest criticism of Ingram and reason wanting to shift the carries to KR was because I believed we needed to get the tough yardage and push through first level traffic.

But the truth is that the OL really kept the first level clean. They gave the backs clear lanes and the zone game worked as well as it's worked all season. Ingram made great reads and ran like a man. And both backs made the most of the strong blocking in front of them.

I have no problem giving credit where its due when its due. Last week was probably the first time I criticized Ingram openly and my opinion has been changed just one week later. He looked like he did in college last night. Honestly I think that may have been his signature game (way more so than the cowboys game).

There was nothing wrong with the opinion you gave on Ingram a week ago. I, like a few others, disagreed. But it was your opinion. Definitely not something you needed to be called out for though. Especially considering it was your first time ever stepping foot in the Ingram argument. There's other posters here who deserve to be called out for the complete garbage they sprew on a weekly basis.

Good post though. Others here could learn something about admitting a mistake.
