Mark Ingram 18 for 97 (5.4 ypc) 1 TD

No one hates Khiry b/c his sample size is limited and he is an UDFA as opposed to a 1st round pick (however misguided, people are always quicker to turn on players who are drafted early). There has been reason to criticize Ingram's play in the past, but those who call him a bust or are miffed b/c he was drafted early aren't going to ever change their minds.

Even coming off the biggest games of his career, there were just some people who could not be convinced that Reggie Bush was a good player. Ingram is going to have to battle the same type of sentiment as long as he's with the Saints.

No as far as Khiry, I remember when there weren't any Chris Ivory haters. Then, I think the offseason of 2012 people started turning on him and calling for him to be cut in favor of the newest UDFA favorite, Tavaris Cadet.

So give it time, certain people will eventually turn against Khiry. But as long as he is the exciting new underdog story, everyone is going to continue loving him and hating on the guy who was drafted early.

We love underdog stories, human nature.
