Mark Ingram 18 for 97 (5.4 ypc) 1 TD

I guess people are so used to seeing Ingram get ZERO yards after contact that when he has a game where a couple of times he drags a defender for whopping 1 or 2 yards you think he is running with power.

If I could I would make a comparison highlight reel of PT's tackle breaking/defender dragging runs vs Ingrams' tackle breaking/defender dragging runs and you would finally get the picture. There is really no comparison.

Ingram runs with power. Period.

It's pure hyperbole to say he doesn't. If you think PT does so better, whatever, but Ingram runs with power. And he did on many runs this past Saturday.

From PFF:

Ingram has been the Saints best ball carrier, and his 79.4 Elusive Rating is the highest of any NFL halfback with 50 carries this season.

What's an elusive rating?

Using the number of missed tackles runners force on all touches (rushing and receiving) and our Yards After Contact tallies, the Elusive Rating formula spits out a score that helps rank the league’s best at making things happen when it’s completely up to them.
