Favorite Albums of 2013

My top five records of 2013 (no particular order)

- Vampire Weekend. Modern Vampires in the City. Their most mature work to date. The whole album is solid.

- Avett Brothers. Magpie and Dandelion. Another record from the Brothers - but I love their sound and songwriting. Keep 'em comin' boys.

- Bleached Ride Your Heart. Breed the Ramones with the Go-Gos and you get Bleached. It's infectious.

- Arcade Fire. Reflektor. Perhaps quietly becoming the most important band of their time.

- Jake Bugg. (self-titled, or "eponymous" record). CPG listed this one too. Love this record, look forward to more.
