Best Live Albums Ever

More I forgot on first post

My first James Brown record, and mods forgive me if you're offended by the name, I apologize.

I found this old BB King cd for 5 dollars a while back, that was well spent as this is classic King. He always sounded better live anyway, lots of power in this recording

The Stones only good live album. Such a shame they refuse to release any live shows from the 69-71 tours, Mick Taylor made a world of difference in that band.

Forget Bowie's "Motion Picture" Ziggy live album, this is all you need, and sounds way better.

I can't believe no one mentioned this either, not a big fan of Ozzy but this record is amazing

I love live albums to death. If I had to pick between a live album or a greatest hits, I'd get the live record any day of the week cause that's how you judge a band, and sometimes more often than not; the live album is better than the studio recording.
Thats how you USED to judge a band. Now a days with ProTools, and engineering, it doesnt matter how bad it is, they can still make it sound great or flawless in the mix. used to, bands would plug and play. Thats no longer the norm. They plug into a PA and a sound engineer does the work. SO in actuality, you dont even know if they lipsync the notes. Because they very well could and no one would know. Ozzy live playing "the wizard" is so fake its pathetic. Hes not even blowing into the harmonica. otherwise youd see him worn out. Half what you think you see and hear is not real. or not in real-time I should say.Unless its an up and coming band. Thats different. Established though? Well.....
