Brees will either play one series in the first quarter or not at all. Not a chance in Hades he plays in the third quarter behind the second or even third team OL. Right now I'd give Brees a 70% chance he doesn't play, 30% chance he does. My guess is Brees will play a half in the third preseason game and that's all. No point risking him aggravating his oblique for games that don't count for squat.
Griffin should start, McCown should play the second half.
