Well...actually you can. Except you walk as if you have a "peg leg" since you cannot flex your foot.

So it would be extremely obvious and he would have been carted out.

I didn't see the play. Reading here he walked off without shoe. So gonna be foot related ..toe or metatarsal related is my best guess.
