Microsoft Paid The NFL $400 Million To Use Its Tablets, But Announcers Are Calling Them iPads

The solution should have been simple. Give each broadcast team a Surface, and tell them they get $50 every time they can mention the "Microsoft Surface" during the broadcast, up to a maximum of $400 for the first quarter of the season. The Surface gets its exposure, the NFL gets its money, and the broadcasters get their education, with a little spending money on the side.

Of course, that would be a week's paycheck for me, I'm an iPad guy, and I wouldn't know a Surface if I saw one. That's all beside the point, though. Microsoft didn't bungle this. The NFL did........ Again.
