It's not as bleak as it seems for Saints fans

The New Orleans Saints have lost three of their last four games, and many of their fans are starting to get that sinking feeling again.

For the sixth time in the last eight games, they're going to play a team backed into a corner fighting for its postseason lives. Not only has Atlanta lost three in a row, but will be wanting revenge after getting plastered 23-3 on Monday Night in the first meeting.

The secondary is beginning to look like the Saints' defense of the late 1970s, the last time the passing game was this powerful (again with apologies to Aaron Brooks and the 2001-02 offenses).
The offense suddenly seems to have no ability to prevent turnovers.

And now rookie wide receiver Marques Colston is battling an ankle injury.

As bad as all those factors sound, however, things are not as bleak for the Saints' playoff chances as some are thinking.
