Kanye has been a trending topic on SR lately, LOL. Looks like SR is decidedly anti-Kanye...and for good reason, he's an arrogant butt. However, he's good at what he does. You don't get it, but there's a reason he was chosen to perform at this event and twice at the Grammys. He didn't "get" to perform. He's wanted to perform. Despite his ego, people that know music (and can obviously detach the person from the work) appreciate his music.

I get it though...there's a certain pop artist that rubs me the wrong way and as such, I don't appreciate his/her music.

and thats what is sad. the "schtick" is getting old. We get it.

Focus on the music and lyrical content and be appreciated for the gift you were given, musically.

I too think he is a outstanding musician/lyricist. But enough of this "me vs world" role. If you want anonimity, seek it out, settle down and stop making music.

Instead, you blow up interviews, marry Kim K, continue to make headlines then take issue because headlines are written about you.

there is some psychological aspect to all of this that i dont know anything about.
