It's a funny story. They were just having a windup, not having a joke at your friend's expense. He has a jersey autographed by Coleman. Your friend will just have to get over it.

You have to remember; you aren't ENTITLED to an autograph by these players. They are human beings too and they don't owe you anything just because you showed up. Thankfully most of them DO take the time to acknowledge the fans that have made them who they are, but to expect it of them is just unrealistic and rude.

Uhh, aren't the fans helping pay their salaries by purchasing jerseys and/or tickets, and whatever other Saints memorabilia?

I get what you're saying about not being entitled......but I didn't really get a "rude fan" vibe from this story at all.

My mother and father aren't "entitled" to having me call and wish them a Happy Mother's and Father's Day every May and June, but I still do it because of all they did for me when I was growing up. The same way Brandon Coleman should not have ruined some memorabilia that was purchased to benefit the team that cuts his checks.
