I totally get why your friend was bummed -- Coleman and Colston are not at all on the same level in terms of Legendary Saints. And as others have said, if Coleman becomes a Legendary Saint, then it'll be fantastic.

If there is such a thing as a "fair joke", everyone could've had a laugh if he had only signed generic items (footballs, helmets, not "Colston"-specific stuff), and it would've spared him the PR kerfuffle...
