At Training Camp - Joke or Not Funny At All [THREAD CLOSED]
I think it's weird when grown men wear a jersey with another man's name on it; or a jersey at all, unless they play a sport that necessitates it.
I hear this trope way too much, so let me explain it to you in a more personal way.
Go into your closet and look at all your shirts.
How many say the name of a band you like, the name of a bar you like, the name of a car you like, or the name of a vacation resort?
How many say Nike or Pink or Hollister?
How many say Vegas, Disney, or St. Croix?
Jerseys are the same. Jerseys with names on them are a way of expressing individualism. They say I am passionate about the Saints, and I like #50 Stephone Anthony.
And in my case I am also saying, "I look d*** good in Black and Gold."
