Yes, the second point is valid indeed.
However to the first poster's statement, I'm willing to bet you'll find footage from last year of Sean Payton raving about the captains too. In all fairness it doesn't matter because one, I can't actually produce said footage :-) and two, these pressers are just media "lip service" at the end of the day.
