I said before the Atlanta game, I was feeling a win. It was at home, at night and against our biggest rival. We very rarely lose those kind of games. But I also said that even if we beat the breaks off the undefeated Falcons, I expect us to go back to the team we'd seen prior to the Atlanta game, and lose again the following week. This team is young and doesn't have the guards to open lanes in the running game or enough weapons in the passing game. It also has a young, inexperienced defense with a few holes up front and a lot of crucial injuries in the secondary. We've played one good game this year and that was last Thursday. Prior to that game, we looked like a bottom five team. If we hadn't had those lucky breaks go our way, who knows what would've happened. I hope that we see the same team show up this week, that we saw last week, but I don't think it's likely. I kind of think it's like the Packers game last year. We were a below-average team, that beat a red-hot Packers team, only to go back to losing after. I expect the same, but hope I'm wrong. We're on the road, against a team with a lot to prove. Andrew Luck looked like himself, for the first time last week and I expect that to continue, especially with Keenan and Swann being out. We need Breaux to have another monster game, to even make it a close one.
Hope I'm wrong. I like my crow fried, with a bottle of Crystal.
