IMO, this says to me we are playing too much I-Form/2 WR and not spreading teams out enough with 4 WRs on the field. That isn't playing to our strengths in the passing game.
Strengths in the passing game? Other than Cooks, we don't have a single receiver that other teams can't match up one on one, even Snead.
We have only 8 TD passes in 7 games, and the lowest % of TD's per pass in the NFL, and we're 24th in yards per catch. If we didn't have a tremendous quarterback, it would be a lot, lot worse.
Right now our best bet is to keep running and grinding, and using play-action where we can.
