Week 7 PFF Grades

Coleman with only 13 snaps. He's really been relegated to very spot duty the last few weeks.

Colston had only 27 snaps.

Cooks/Snead played 70+ snaps.

IMO, this says to me we are playing too much I-Form/2 WR and not spreading teams out enough with 4 WRs on the field. That isn't playing to our strengths in the passing game. We also played a ton of 3TE sets which worked early in the run game but were ineffective later.

I too would like to see more 3-4 Wr sets but I think we have gone to more 3TE's set because the lack of pass protection. Which kind of makes sense to me. IMO in order to run the 4 WR set we need be hitting on short quick timely passing but the ability of our WR's getting separation
could be a reason we are seeing less of it?
I think when/IF our pass protection can get better we will see more 3-4 sets spreading the defense out.
