RIP Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor

As much as Lemmy, the man defined Motorhead and inspired so many speed freaks since.

When asked why he never wrote ballads, Lemmy replied that he did, but, once Phil had played them a few times, they were the same speed as everything else.

Despite the continuous thunder, I always thought he had a lovely bass tone.Turn it up!
