Rodney is a good man and also my neighbor. He had worked for Benson since he was a teenager. After Katina, he quit since Benson was going to move the team to San Antonio. I think that gets lost in this, is first off, he was fired, so he's rightfully upset and trying to protect himself. Lawyers always paint a picture harsher than it is, because that's their job to frame the world in their side of the argument.

From the family perspective, you could very well have a guy who thinks he's doing the right thing by Mr. Benson, but was over stepping his bounds and ticking off Mrs. Benson. Why would she be angry that he took him to the hospital? Was it a false alarm? Did they have instructions to call his personal doctor first due to the surgery issues? Remember, he had a series of issues two years ago. Was she set on being the one to help decide and to know? It's hard to say.

Was he trying to help mend the family fences when he shouldn't have been?
