NFL/NBA now have a Donald Sterling problem with Gayle Benson

I think it's fine to use black as a descriptor when needed. Adding the word black when it's not needed, especially when speaking with vitriol, is insensitive.
"Me and Bob are going to lunch." "Which Bob?" "The black guy." Acceptable IMO.
Bob walks by and I tell my coworker "I hate that black SOB" Insensitive.

Someone in Gayle's position should know better.
