Saints making strongest push for Anquan Boldin???
Sometimes I just don't understand fans. How anybody could say "Oh GOD please no!!!!" to a player like Anquan Boldin is just beyond me. Not just no but please GOD no?
Over the past two seasons Boldin had 152 rec, 1,851 yards, and 9 TDs.
Over the past two seasons Cooks had 137 rec, 1,688 yards, and 12 TDs.
Over the past two seasons Boldin has caught passes from Colin Kaepernick and Blaine Gabbert.
Cooks has been catching passes from Drew Brees.
If Boldin outproduced our best WR over the past two seasons then surely he can outproduce the player he would be brought in to replace which would be Colston. Boldin could roll out of bed and
at least provide what Colston brought to the offense.
Over the past three seasons in San Fran Boldin had 237 rec, 3,030 yards, and 16 TDs.
During that same span Colston had 179 rec, 2,365 yards, and 14 TDs.
So people are saying "GOD please no!" to a player who averaged 79 catches, 1,010 yards, and 5 TDs a year while catching passes from two of the worst starting QBs in the NFL. Because that makes sense...
