Saints making strongest push for Anquan Boldin???

How does Boldin compare to Colston, though? We obviously thought Colston was not good enough to keep, is Boldin that much better? Esepcially since he doesn't "know" the system? Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of Boldin here. I'm just wondering why we wouldn't have just kept Colston if all we were looking for was a veteran possession receiver.

Boldin aged so much better than Colston. Stats:

Over the past three seasons in San Fran Boldin had 237 rec, 3,030 yards, and 16 TDs.

During that same span Colston had 179 rec, 2,365 yards, and 14 TDs.

Colston gave all he had. He will be missed, but his production should be easy to replace. I think Boldin will at least provide what Colston has the past few years.
