Saints making strongest push for Anquan Boldin???

How does Boldin compare to Colston, though? We obviously thought Colston was not good enough to keep, is Boldin that much better? Esepcially since he doesn't "know" the system? Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of Boldin here. I'm just wondering why we wouldn't have just kept Colston if all we were looking for was a veteran possession receiver.

There were stories that Colston failed a physical, and that led to his release. Whether the failed physical was THE reason, or just a last straw...who knows.

And, coming from someone who loved Colston since game 1 of 2006.......I can tell you that it was getting incredibly frustrating watching Colston drop passes, or worrying about whether someone was gonna come from behind and strip him of the ball.
