Ingram benched [OLD THREAD BUMPED]

I don't think Ingram's passion is questionable. I'm not really sure about today as the fumble occurred whilst my fox affiliate was still showing the end of the bengals v skins game, but last week you could argue he fumbled because he was running hard and passionately fighting for more yards rather than just going down.

Today was more about Payton proving a point for me, and I think Hightower having the performance he did also made the decision to leave him there easier than it otherwise could've been. We were also much more committed to the run than any other time this season. The entire game for me was very much a "prove yourself" one versus a team who's labelled us as soft in the past and I think that reflected in the gameplan and real time tactics, especially on our offensive side. So I think that also factored into the decision.
