Ingram benched [OLD THREAD BUMPED]

Y'all overreact much? For all the Hightower love, he's never averaged over 4 yards a carry. He looks like he is, but numbers don't lie. As far as Ingram I don't remember all his fumbles but the ones I do remember are exactly like this last one. He's still trying to push the pile when he gets stood up, and continues to try to drive as the defense is trying to strip the ball. In that situation the defense will eventually get it out. Ingram needs to learn when he's in that situation to go down. Get what you can get and go down.

Some of that can be dictated by style of offense. Hightower in a run first offense without a good QB means 8 in the box a lot. Thus lower YPC. Put him in an offense with a threat @WB and he's got bigger lanes and more room to maneuver.

Sometimes u have to ask why..instead of just stating the obvious. Similarly Ingram would prob Me more effective in a run first offense because he's a volume runner.
