Today, the school is closed because apparently a group of the dead kid's friends made threats that they were going to come to school and kill a bunch of people.
On a visceral level, fifteen year old me would probably agree with them. If my friend had gone out that way, and others had tuned his tragic mistake into a joke or a meme, I'd want to end them too.
