Cutting the cable, lets talk options and media setups

I see the $35 plan has Fox Sports Southwest. FSNO is basically FSSW with some local content injected. Most important of which are Pelicans games.

But there is no telling if vue does the way it is broadcast on cable. I'm betting the NBA might block it. Guess I'll do the trial and find out. Then I'll try Sling.

On Sling, FSNO is on of the alternative FSSW channels. The main one is the Dallas broadcasts.

If you want top of the line it's the Nvidia Shield TV. It might be hard to find right now. I have the 16gb version 1 with the remote and it's flawless. They also sell a 500gb version 1. They've just released a version 2 which is basically the same thing.

In the past the only knock on it was the lack of Amazon Prime TV support but the new firmware update will bring that with it.

So is the 16gb hard to find because it's not made anymore. Does it come out of the box with KODI installed (not that that's a problem if it isn't)?
