Cutting the cable, lets talk options and media setups
Tried Vue, Sling and Directv Now. IMO, Vue is much better. Especially with the DVR service.
Another app to look into is USTVNOW. Roku has an app, but android does not (haven't looked recently) and it also has a Kodi Addon. ABC, NBC, CBS, CW FOX (there is another one I'm forgetting) that are free if you sign up for an account. All the other channels are pay like Vue and Sling. Network channels are based in Los Angeles and New York, so there isn't really local, but its worth a look.
Another thing with Kodi is you don't have to use the "not so legal" addons to get use of it. There are Netflix, youtube, USTVNOW, all TV network addons that you can use. But you will have to log into them using your credentials. Network apps you will have to use your provider (VUE, Cox, Charter) Netflix and those you will have to log in like you would using the app. It kind of like a one place for most streaming apps.
I also have an outdoor Antenna. I live in Baton Rouge and I get 24 local channels. Didn't realize there were that many OTA channels locally.
MeTV, AntennaTV, GetTV, EscapeTV, Grit TV, Laff, Bounce, WFLT, ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, CW, LPB. Some others that I am missing. Some networks have multiple channels.
