What is your most favorite non playoff moment in SAINT history.

Season ender on New Year's Eve 1990 vs Rams in prime time. Time running out, Eric Martin catches a short slant from Steve Walsh and takes it upfield 25 yards for a first down in Andersen's field goal range. Morten proceeded to kick us into the playoffs.

I remember this clearly. Me and a friend were staying at my brother's house who was out of town. We had dates for New Year's Eve and they were sitting there waiting for the game to end so we could catch New Years at a club. They were not happy that it was a possibility that we would miss the actual New Years countdown (EST). My friend and I were huge Saints fans and could care less. Needless to say the Saints made the playoffs...we made the countdown...and it was a great New Years. Neither of us dated the girls for long so it was a win/win.
