Thanks for bringing up that Eagles game and the crowd stopping the game for 20 minutes.. Those metal bleachers in Tulane Stadium created such a din.. and the more Gabriel would turn to the official for help the louder we got.... We had nothing to lose so what the heck...

That game was Oct. 27, 1974. It was the second home game I ever missed as I had my appendix removed the day before, but my dad went to the game from the hospital and returned to my bedside afterward. I got to listen to the game on the radio with my aunt. Saints won.
