N/S Pats fans going off on Cooks and Brady

"Strawman":covri: lol

He contradicted himself in consecutive posts. He said Cooks couldn't get separation, or wasn't "good at it" to be exact, then I proceeded to post gifs of him getting separation, making difficult catches, and avoiding tackles and taking it to the house. So I think I proved my point. Oh and there were plenty more examples of Cooks making plays, I just don't have all day to post them.

It's not my job to prove his opinions on the subject....it's his.

In sports commentary, when someone writes someone is not good or is good at something then the term is used in a relative sense, not an absolute one. In sports, you can never say never or any other "absolute" term. No athlete "never" do something or "always" do something. This is why you made a strawman argument; you took a relative term, made it absolute, then cherry-picked gifs to "prove him wrong." And yes, I have no doubt you can find more gifs. We know how many catches he made.

His main point was that Cooks utility was declining, thus his role in the offense was far less than we hoped. Even at that, he was satisfied. I think in the end, this is what he going to be for his career.
