Here is a blind reveal that will open some eyes:

Player 1: 204 catches, 2293 yards, 11.2 YPR (2015-2016 seasons)
Player 2: 196 catches, 2382 yards, 12.2 YPR (2016-2017 seasons)

Player 1 is Jarvis Landry and Player 2 is Michael Thomas.

Drew Brees can allow Landry to have much better YAC yards and increase his YPR by at least 1 yard over the average shown above.

Over the last 2 seasons, Landry had 13 TDs, Thomas has 14.

Landry can return punts effectively. Something we badly need.

Was waiting for someone to bring this up reading through this. Nice post! Landry would be unstoppable in a role where he's defenses 3rd option instead of being double teamed. When the Patriots played them Belicheck sole focus was to take Landry out of the game and he's on NFL Films doing it. Here defenses would be worried about Thomas and Kamara in the passing game along with our top rushing offense. Not to mention Brees would be throwing him the ball with Landry playing out of the slot where he thrives. As others would impact his game he would open up things for the rest of the offense as well. As you said he would also give us a great punt returner with arguably the most reliable hands in the NFL.. if I had to guess Landry will be a NY Giant next year joining Odell Beckham and creating a pretty amazing WR duo there as well. Would love to sign him but not top WR $.
