N/S Brandin Cooks traded to Rams

The Rams are going all in on this year with cap implosion coming next year. Cooks is still on his rookie deal and will want to get paid. Same with Peters, Donald, Gurley, and soon Goff. Suh is only on a one year deal. The conspiracy theorist in me is thinking the NFL wants the LA market revived and a Superbowl / playoff run to get the ratings and fan base charged. Also they resigned Tavon Austin at a cheaper number, Cooks is a better version of the small quick deep threat that Austin was supposed to be. The Rams 2018 cap is a mirage, brilliant for their GM, but giving up a first rounder that would help later cap problems especially after they already did the same thing on a one year rental of Watkins for a second rounder and now have nothing to show for it does not lead to long term sustainability.
