I thought there was a lot of good stuff in the finale. I’m still not totally sure why the FBI was willing to let a major (I assume) American city be taken over by a mobster/terrorist unless Oliver turned himself in, especially when everyone else was easily granted immunity.
I really liked Oliver’s 1-on-1 scenes with people in the finale, especially the one with (mayor) Lance.
I personally hope they don’t retcon Oliver publicly declaring himself as the Green Arrow. So many people already know, and he has rallied the entire city to stand & fight with him twice before, I think it’s time to drop the secret identity. “Will his secret get out?” has been used as a plot device so much, I’m kind of relieved if we are moving past it.
I thought the very beginning of the season was fine, and the end was pretty good, but boy, I thought middle of the season was dumb.
