Taysom Hill Raw Footage (Video From OTAs)

I'm calling it! "So let it be written, so let it be done!' - Yule Brenner. We have the backup to Brees on our roster. AND THIS IS HUGE. I'll explain in a minute.

Negatives: Low trajectory, not much experience under center

Why he is Brees replacement who will keep us a playoff team and possibly SB team after Brees:
1) Intangible - he's a natural leader and has the fire/energy in his belly. The play I was most impressed with was when he threw a flair to a RB then Hill took-off down field to try and block for the RB. Yes I know this is the NFL and the coaches will keep him from doing that regularly, but that is a QB/Leader, who the players will follow through fire
2) Athleticism - He is the perfect type athlete SP wants to run his offense post Brees. He is blazing fast, shifty, strong as an ox and loves to run. Yes I know that the coaches will work on that where he 1st scrambles to buy time then takes off only when necessary. However SP will have QB run plays built in for Hill
3) Accurate passer with a lot of touch who naturally throws accurate back shoulder passes. He is accurate up to 40 yards
4) He's freakin smart and is constantly surveying the field
5) Has the time to learn under Brees and wants to learn from Brees
6) He's a Mormon, won't drink or drug and with his dedication he will be in top condition - an example to all the other players
7) Fiery - think I said that before but that cannot be under-estimated in value for a team leader

And the massive benefits of being the replacement for Brees:
1) He will know the system and the players inside out
2) We won't have to spend and likely waste a huge amount of draft capital trading up to try and find the QB in the draft
3) And he will be very inexpensive for the 1st few years. We won't have to pay $90 mil guaranteed for a Cousins type QB or $60 mil for a Foles type QB so we will have maximum cap space to keep our uber talented young players and be able to spend some money on a couple of top tier FAs

Hill is a dream come true for this organization and us fans!

Those seem like really good points to me, I agree with you. I think even though he has some negatives, he has enough positives to maybe be a really good starting QB.
