Best one two punch at receiver on same team in the history of the NFL?
Fears and Crazy Legs (should be very close to the top of the list)
Think how awesome these two were. They had 2 QBs splitting snaps and yet rolled up 2k yards in what was only a 12 game season back then. There is a reason the Saints hired Tom Fears as a coach and I dont think it was his coaching prowess. In 1951 in their season opener against the NY Yanks Elroy had 9 catches for 4 TDs 173 Yds and Fears had 7 catches for 162 yds. Van Brocklin passed for 554 yds and 5 TDs with an additional 160 yds rushing from the backfield. Tom also had 6 XPs (kicks)
Biletnikoff and Branch
Mac Speedie and Dante Lavelli
Otto had a 5.5 TD % in 1950 when he won the Title over the aforementioned Rams. Lavelli is in the HoF some say Speedie was the better of the two.
Bobby Mitchell and Charley Taylor
