I feel like it’s wayyyyy premature to call him a bust. He had 1 year in the league then got injured. That doesn’t = bust to me. If they’re just looking to get rid of him I’d happily give him a shot
If they cut him, that means paying this year's as well as next year's salaries, eating the cap hits. One would think they'd try to get -something- for him. A trade comes to mind. But they're talking about cutting him outright. That's a powerful statement.
Should fit well for a team looking to run power/gap/counter/etc. Titans, and from what I hear probably the Raiders, are running those systems. Just two off the top of my head. Wouldn't be shocked to see him picked up for someone's training camp.
Yeah, if he's cut, he'll be in someone's camp in no time. But again, I'm shocked they're even considering a cut. A trade (even for nothing, where another team eats the cap hit) would make a lot more sense. So I'm kinda shocked. They must be really down on him.
