The Ingram Suspension is Big. Who fills the role?

I'm pretty confident Lasco wont make the team.
Williams will become a camp and preseason beast.
I'm not sure Scott as a rookie will do anything, he is more of a Kamara backup than someone you want to grind between the tackles.
I like Edmunds but he is a downhill runner and far from a cut back or slasher that Ingram is. Doubt you want to build an offense around him for 4 games. Think he's more of a closer type back.
Terrance West is by far the most likely plug and play option from a running style and experience standpoint.

So I think it's West's job to lose but Williams will put a lot of pressure on him. Think Scott and Edmunds are guys the front office has a plan for this year and aren't even really on the radar to fill in for Ingram. Lasco's hasn't shown his ability to be even close to outweighing his injury issues and wont make the team.

So that's my thoughts going into camp but there's a reason they have camp and preseason.

Yea, this. Unless Scott absolutely kills it with no fumbles in camp, he doesn't get any significant carries. Would love to start Hightower, but don't know if he is as good as his first year with us. Worried about West too, he's had a hard career. Williams, maybe. Would love for him to light it up in camp, we need him. Trey, totally agree. He's an Alvin Maxson clone, and could surprise me. But I doubt it. I think the numbers will get Lasco, who has a bad habit of diving at the tackler's ankles when contact is coming. He needs to keep his head up.

I wanted to draft Darrell Williams for insurance, but it would have set us back elsewhere. Darrell, I think, will be a good Pro.
