I’ve finally been digging into Emerson, Lake, and Palmer’s catalog for the first time in my life. I bought the reissues of ELP, Tarkus, Pictures at an Exhibition, Trilogy, and Brain Salad Surgery last year, but they had been sitting unopened. I don’t know how I lived without this music. I think the debut just edges out Brain Salad Surgery, at this point. Still need to listen through Tarkus and Trilogy.
