This may sound like a stupid question, but do you know if your locals are supposed to be available in HD? I know in alot of areas they aren't.
Also, When I first got my HD Dish and Reciever hooked up I had major problems....I got my locals in HD but nothing else. They swore up and down that there was an obstruction and that I wouldn't be able to get HD.
I told them that it was ridiculous and they needed to get out and fix it. I suspected it was my DVR.....turns out I was right. They replaced my DVR and **poof** all my HD channels were coming in perfectly. They should have paid me a tech fee for leading them to the right answer.
