Why is it everyone is treating the missed field goal like we would of lost

Except when the defense needed to step up the most, they instead choke. Look, we are all happy for the win but this problem with the defense on the back end, especially at the most critical moments, is a recurring issue and it appears it is not getting addressed. That was a horrible scheme, combined with poor communication, that allowed a TD when the goal is to protect the end zone. There's a lot of football left and fortunes can change instantaneously. I'm happy for the win yes, but the secondary issues, especially during the last 2 minutes when they need to step up and instead nearly blow it, continues to rear its ugly head.
