Why is it everyone is treating the missed field goal like we would of lost

So you don't think we had to step up in their drive where we forced a turnorver on downs?

I'm not sayung they were perfect, but they were not terrible and they had a good chance of stopping the ravens on OT if they got the ball first. This is a fact, everything else is just overreacting.

Yeah, they did step up on that drive. And thankfully the offense moved the ball, took some more time off the clock, and got another 3 points, which extended the lead to a full TD. But again, they had to put that defense back on the field and look at the result. TBH, I was extremely nervous, as I always am when that defense has to be put back on the field during those circumstances. I was actually unhappy with Payton's call on that 3rd and 3 when they went empty backfield and the Ravens blitzed up the middle forcing Brees out of the pocket and roll to his right and at the point, he had no choice but to throw the ball away and stop the clock. But I digress. My fears were realized, again, when they had to put that unit back onto the field needing a stop with 2 minutes remaining. And to the dismay, DA's unit does it again. It took a real fluke missed kick to win the game. I'm not asking for perfection either but come on. Fix that back end or it will cost the team again down the stretch.
