I think some Saints fans need the game to feel comfortable from start to finish. I think some other Saints fans are also just overly critical of the team no matter what. StilI, some others only see the positive. Finally, there’s the camp that maintains a balance, where they can appreciate a win and still have concerns about certain areas of performance. Put it this way, after the Browns game, Coach SP even said, and I paraphrase, “Happy for the win, but a lot of work to do. Play like that against a better team and we lose”. I don’t think anyone is wrong.
I’m a meat head, homer, Saints fan and I’m not afraid to admit it. Yes, I recognize deficiencies but I don’t dwell on them. I do dwell on all the good stuff though, including the W. I have co-workers who are Ravens’ fans and they’ve not been very happy with my treatment of them all morning. They are over in Connecticut and my emails have been similar to this all morning:
Good Morning Joe,
Great job on the 2019 Open Enrollment presentation last week. You looked extremely surprised when the words on the 24th Power Point slide veered to the right, but I think everyone was still able to read it. Also, I liked how you shared the responsibilities with Nancy and Joan in the second half of the presentation. I mean, allowing 2 other individuals to present was a first for you, and it shows major growth. Keep up the great work.
:hihi:
