PJ Williams named NFC defensive player of the week.

I'm so sick of some of the attitudes in this thread. It really is disgusting. Yes, he gave up yards and TDs to Thielen and Diggs - but so has every other defense that they have played. Thielen has literally put up 8 straight 100 yard games to start the season which ties an NFL record. The Cousins to Thielen combo cannot be stopped.

Every secondary in the NFL has a weak link, and guess what? They all get picked on. This isn't Jason David out there. This is a quality football player who is put in a bad spot by playing out of his natural position.

He made two HUGE football plays that elevated us into winning this game on the road. We don't win without him making those plays, I promise you that. And it was recognized league wide how critical those plays were by winning those honors.

And to those crapping on his pick 6 because of Diggs stopping on his route: I dont care how much of a "gift" that interception was. Do you guys watch football? At least 75% of interceptions are exactly that - defenses capitalizing on mistakes. He did exactly what he was supposed to do and he's getting no credit for it from some of you.

You all should be ashamed of yourselves. We are 6-1, just won two HUGE games on the road, and our defense is starting to make big time plays. Always need something to complain about, huh?
